From  the wealth of our knowledge and expertise, and as a service to our customers, we have gathered frequently asked questions and answers, along with useful information on topics our customers find interesting. 

Anticipate your home to be in disorder anywhere from 1-2 days while living in the home where installation is taking place, vacuuming will be up to your self or layers will charge for extra time used.

Please give 48-hours notice to cancel a confirmed laying date as a minimum fee for a cancellation may apply for short notice. 

If you have a specific preference for the location of seam or direction please insure the pricing includes this. In the absence of any instruction we will base the layout on experience.

Textured carpets have a geometrical pattern and cannot be guaranteed against visual defects with the pattern alignment.

Please ensure all paintwork is dry, especially skirting boards before your installer arrives. Power supply is needed for installation.

You are responsible for shifting, disconnection of appliance’s and electrical wires prior to contractors arriving then moving back appliances and reconnection after works are complete.

Remove all breakables prior to installation, although all care is taken, Carpet Time are not responsible for any damage during works by contractors.

Projected prices are given on behalf of contractors; discuss any extra labour charges with your contractors direct before installation.

Uplifting and dumping Please confirm if you are going to complete yourself, or if you wouldprefer contractors to complete. This will be an added cost to installation.

      FurniturePlease note no allowance has been given to include moving of furniture.

Normally we leave it up to you to organize the moving of furniture, however if you need assistance our layers will be happy to help, please discuss payment directly with them.

Doors It is the clients responsible for all removal and replacing doors, please ensure adequate clearance, any trimming needed is also your own reasonability.

      Rugs any pieces of carpet leftover after completion of installation can be made into rugs.
